My History & Future
Always
All my life I have always loved photography, so left my former career in 2008 after many years of preparation, research, development, gaining shoot experience and a degree to start my pro career as a wedding photographer to take the giant leap into the full time pro world which is a huge step and a steep learning curve!
Also early in my career it was very apparent that each person is unique and capturing them correctly was obviously paramount and some occasions life changing with the positive effect it can offer.
I keep it simple, shoot the best you can do, make sure the individual is very happy whilst shooting ( fun is allowed) but still retain professionalism throughout and a team ethic is very important to me to get the very best for everyone included
Building
Next step was a very large studio which helped me gain expert studio shooting knowledge and lighting techniques and whilst I was here built a small modeling agency and started actively commercially shooting models for fashion brands, portfolios and gaining knowledge of getting the angles correct and direction for each individual at the same time developing my own take and style of photography.
I always get asked which photographer do you want to be like? I reply, I admire other top photographers work but never emulate...
Also at this time I was drawn into the world of dance photography and shot professional dancers on stage, along with promo portfolios including many Strictly Come Dancing stars.
Travelling
Fashion photography was now starting to kick in for me and my main inspiration. Alongside this a new Digital and printed luxury magazine was born and still published to this day... VOUZ! Magazine. Co editor with my wife, Corinne, we have travelled the world for editorial coverage and shoots taking us to many destinations including Singapore, USA, Paris, Rome, Milan, St Tropez, Cannes, Monaco, Barcelona, Lisbon, Ethiopia, Florence, Fuerteventura, Poland, and of course central London and the UK
My experience grew into high end photography for designer look-books and brand shoots and launches from Bentley to Red Bull.
London fashion week runways became a regular occurrence, non schedule first, now scheduled and invites for Milan, Paris and New York arrive!
Forward
Always now regularly published internationally I'm always seeking to drive forward. Now shot over 50 VOUZ! Magazine covers and fashion editorials, Also featured on a few covers from LA to Amsterdam. Now shooting for three PR companies including new singers, models and brand launches. The magazine takes me literally anywhere in the world. Also still developing my style of photography but also marketing effectively and keeping stratospheric standards to promote my clients in a highly professional manner.
Totally approachable and very easy to shoot with in a non pressure atmosphere but still get the great shots needed.
I came from a humble background, now a fully fledged, extremely experienced international photographer...
but still humble...
